Kicked things off with a morning beach run. Breakfast on the beach followed. We added on banana pancakes to our order.
Today’s main activity; romantic picnic on a private beach! We arrived to see a decorated tent, lunch table, and lounge cushions. We went for a long walk and danced with a few crabs along the way.

We spent the hours eating, reading, relaxing, and swimming. Toward the end of the afternoon, thunder from the distance came closer and became more frequent. Sure enough, the catamaran ride back to the resort was a wet one. Luckily, when it’s 80 and sunny, the rain doesn’t feel too cold.
Since it was still raining a when we got back, we decided to call and ask about a quick massage. We were on the schedule for full massages the next day and figured, why not get a sneak peak! After 30 minutes of a great back, shoulders, and head massage, we were definitely keeping the reservation for tomorrow.

We learned a local game called Mbao which is similar to Mancala. We played a few times before dinner, and one of the staff put his name in the hat to challenge the winner. Current standings: Anna 2, Brian 1.
